Easter Eggs

H.P. Lovecraft references

• In the upstairs hallway, on the wall opposite the bathroom, there is a famous painting of Cthulhu.
• In a conversation with Barbara, Michael mentions a Mr. Delapoer. Delapoer was the name of the character in Lovecraft's "The Rats in the Walls" who is driven insane by scratching only he can hear.
• In the secret room under the chapel, there's a copy of the book "De Vermis Mysteriis", one of Lovecraft's creations.

Shirts

In the master bedroom on the second floor, the bottom drawer of the dresser contains three shirts. The dark gray one in the middle has a small hot spot on the collar tag. If you click on that, Michael says, "Those shirts looked just like mine! Lazy developers! Bring some variety to the game for crying out loud..."

Rapp

Examine the nameplates in the crypt. Michael describes one of them as: "I barely managed to read something about a Rapp person that died in the line of duty."

This is presumably a reference to Rapp Scallion, a character from Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, whose remains are also found in a crypt.
