XXX - If you need something you don't have, you can always buy it from the vending machine.
If you don't have enough money to buy what you need, you can sell stuff to the administrator.
However, obvious junk fetches a low price. And if you sell him something twice, he'll give you less money for it the second time around, so there's a point of diminishing returns.
Also, if you sell something to the administrator, but need to buy it back later, it'll cost more. So you'll be losing money.
XXX - Is it possible to finish the game without buying anything? No. Need to buy at least the replacement parts for the mechanical arm.
