XXX - The meaning of the drawings and the hidden symbols will make a lot more sense after you've visited the necropolis.

XXX - The topmost drawing shows the distinct arches of the citadel and necropolis. The five-pointed shape must therefore be the plateau with the plants.

The second drawing shows a Selenite looking at a circle. Remember that the moon is tidally locked and always shows the same face to the Earth; this means that the Selenites could build an archway through which the Earth is always visible. At any rate, it shows the Selenite looking at the Earth.

The third drawing shows the Selenite in a box of some sort, arms crossed. Turns out this is a sarcophagus.

XXX - There are five ideograms on the bottom. You don't know the ones in the second row yet, but you should know the ones in the first row.

If you don't know them yet, learn them. The first two appear on the cliff wall.

The first line reads "Voracia (blue plant) + Mephitia (yellow plant) = food".

Try making food out of those two plants.

Go down to the bottom of the broken stairs and make a blue-yellow compote.

Eat the blue-yellow compote to get "green vision".

Evidently the second row of ideograms means "green vision" or words to that effect.

Look at the drawings on the courtyard wall.

Three new symbols appear.

Their meaning, "see the Earth and die" is revealed once Ardan enters the necropolis.

"See earth" appears beneath the drawing of the Selenite looking at the circle; "die" appears beneath the drawing of the Selenite in a sarcophagus.
